A Complete Equine Facility...
Catskill Equestrian Center is located at the Bailiwick Ranch, the oldest & largest established stable in the Catskills. Family owned and operated, it is a 300 acre ranch nestled at the foot of the Catskill Mountains and adjacent to a state park with endles scenic mountain trails.
We offer English and Western riding instruction from beginner to advanced, children to adults, on safe, sound & well mannered horses. Lessons are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. We offer times to fit your schedule and lesson packages to fit your budget.
We have an indoor and 2 outdoor lighted arenas, a 20 horse stall barn, a 10 horse stall barn, bathing stall and round pen.
Full board, short and long term with daily turnout is available.
Training is also available, braking, general training, fine tuning and show training. Short term and long term, it includes full board. Multiple horse discount.
All breeds and disciplines are welcome!

DAY RIDING CAMP
Our camp hours are 10:00am --5:00pm Monday through Friday. All riding abilities from kids to adults are welcome. Campers are placed in groups accordingly. We have an intensive riding program.
All campers are assigned a horse to take care of. Campers are taught about nutritional feeding, horse & barn maintenance, cleaning & caring for tack, preparing for a horse show along with English & Western riding lessons.
Flat and jumping lessons are conducted. Other activities include an all day trail ride, drill team work, trick riding, side saddle riding & gymkhana games. There is a 1/2 hour lunch break, (campers must bring own lunch) then its back to the barn. Campers are supervised at all times and there is a ratio of one instructor per 6 campers.
On Friday afternoon campers will compete in a horse show and perform a special drill for their parents and friends.
Through our program we teach campers to practice safety, good sportsmanship & having fun while progressing to a higher level of horsemanship.
ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR ASTM/SEI EQUINE APPROVED HELMETS, WHICH C.E.C. PROVIDES FREE OF CHARGE.
