Riding Lessons

Catskill Equestrian Center is Bailiwick's premier riding academy, located on the same property. It is the oldest & largest established stable in the Catskills. We offer year round boarding, training, lessons, summer riding camp, special events, clinics, shows, horses for sale & lease. All instructors are certified 

We offer English & Western riding instruction from beginner to advance, children to adults, on safe, sound, & well mannered horses. Lessons are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual. We offer times to fit your schedule & lessons packages to fit your budget. We have an indoor & outdoor arena for riding year round in all weather. We also offer summer camp, pony club, after school program, mommy & me classes, ladies night & many other programs, please see the Catskill Equestrian Center website for more information.

ASTM/SEI helmets available at no additional charge. All students must wear long pants & boots with heel.

Lessons must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. If you need to cancel an appointment please do so at least 12 hours in advance to avoid any charges. 

Private Lessons

All private lessons begin with grooming & tacking up. Please arrive 10-15 mins prior to the start of your lesson. 

1/2 hour private $55

1 hour private $80 

1 hour semi private $65 per student up to 2 students

group lessons

Bi-weekly group lessons are held throughout the year. Please call for availability or to set up your own group. Students should be in the arena ready prior to start of lesson.
