♿ Accessibility & Safety

At Bailiwick Animal Park, we strive to provide a welcoming and safe experience for all guests while prioritizing the well-being of our animals.

Because we are an outdoor, working animal facility, guests should be aware of the following guidelines before visiting.

♿ Accessibility

The park consists primarily of hard-packed dirt pathways with some gently rolling terrain. There are also small grass and gravel areas throughout the property.

• All exhibits are accessible via main pathways
• The picnic area is gravel/grass
• The gift shop/office entrance has a concrete ramp
• There is a step into the main restroom building
• A portable restroom is available inside the park

Guests using wheelchairs or strollers regularly visit successfully, though terrain may vary depending on weather conditions.

We do not offer wheelchair or stroller rentals.

🐾 Animal Interaction & Guest Responsibility

Animals, even friendly farm animals, are living creatures and may behave unpredictably.

While many of our animals enjoy feeding and interaction, guests should be aware:

• Animals are capable of biting, nibbling, or sudden movements
• Small children should be closely supervised during feeding
• Fingers should never be placed inside an animal’s mouth
• Only approved feed purchased inside the park may be given to animals
• Follow posted signage at each exhibit

For the safety of both guests and animals, respectful behavior is required at all times.

👨‍👩‍👧 Supervision

Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

Do not allow children to:

• Climb fencing
• Enter restricted areas
• Chase animals
• Throw objects into enclosures

Guests who engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may be asked to leave the property.

🐶 Service Animals

For the safety of our animals and guests:

• Only trained service animals assisting individuals with disabilities are permitted
• Emotional support animals and therapy animals are not allowed
• Approved service animals must remain under control at all times
• Service animals may be required to maintain distance from certain exhibits

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment.

🚁 Drones

Drones are not permitted on the property.

They can disturb and potentially spook both zoo animals and horses.

🎠 Playground Use

Our playground area is available for children to enjoy.

Play at your own risk. Adult supervision is required at all times.

🌦 Weather & Outdoor Conditions

Bailiwick is an outdoor facility.
