Bailiwick Animal Park is a family-owned and operated animal park in the heart of the Catskills, home to over 25 exhibits of domestic and exotic animals.

For decades, families have visited Bailiwick to experience animals up close in a relaxed, welcoming environment. From majestic Bengal tigers and bears to zebras, camels, kangaroos, and beloved farm animals, our park offers meaningful, personal encounters that create lasting memories.

As we step into a new chapter, we are committed to continuing that legacy while making thoughtful improvements and exciting additions in the seasons ahead.

OUR MISSION

At Bailiwick Animal Park, we believe conservation starts with connection. As a small, family-owned zoo, we are passionate about creating memorable experiences that inspire love and respect for animals of all kinds.

Many of our animals have been rescued or donated and will remain in our care for the rest of their lives. Every visit supports our mission to provide exceptional animal care, promote conservation awareness, and educate future generations about the importance of protecting wildlife.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF ANIMAL PARK

Bailiwick is not a large commercial zoo, and we are not funded by the state or city. We are privately owned and operated, and the animals here are part of our extended family.

Many of our animals have been rescued, donated, or surrendered. Each one has a story — and each one will remain in our care for life.

Because we are a smaller, hands-on park, we are able to focus on individualized care, personal experiences, and genuine connection between people and animals.
